Can I run multiple projects on Makanify simultaneously?

Yes. There is no limit on the number of projects you can run. Builders managing 1 project and builders managing 30 projects both work on the Builder plan. Project-wise filtering is available across leads, reports, payment plans, demand letters, and dashboards.

What if my project does not have a tower or block hierarchy, like a plotting project?

Leave the 'this project has Block layout' checkbox unchecked. The Add Unit form will not show a Block field. Plotting projects, row houses, and simple developments work this way. Each plot is a unit with the fields relevant to plots (size, dimensions, frontage, facing).

How do I bulk upload my unit inventory from Excel?

Download the Makanify unit template from the Add Unit screen. Fill in your unit data in Excel. Upload. Validation runs before import; errors are flagged with row references for you to fix. Once validation passes, the upload processes in batches. A 500-unit project typically takes under 2 minutes to import.

Can I add custom fields to units, like RERA carpet area or facing direction?

Yes. Custom fields are supported on the Add Unit form. Common ones for Indian real estate: RERA Carpet Area, Balcony Area, Terrace Area, Facing Direction, View, Bathrooms, Parking, Corner Unit Premium, Floor Premium. Configure custom fields in Settings, Lead Settings, Custom Fields.

How do unit statuses change automatically?

Statuses change when team members take actions in the CRM. When an agent holds a unit for a buyer, the status changes from Available to On Hold. When the hold converts to a confirmed booking with payment received, the status changes to Booked. When the unit is fully sold (typically possession or full payment), the status changes to Sold. Available counts update in real time across all team members.

Can I restrict which team members see specific projects?

Yes. Each project has a Project Visibility setting. Default is 'visible to everyone in the organisation'. Restrict visibility to specific teams or users for premium projects, joint ventures, or sensitive launches. Visibility is configurable per project.

Does Makanify support RERA fields and compliance?

Yes. Project-level RERA registration number is a native field. Unit-level RERA carpet area, balcony area, and terrace area are supported as custom fields configured in setup. Demand letter and document templates pull RERA project numbers and unit-level RERA fields via shortcodes for compliance-aligned documentation.

What happens if I make a mistake in bulk upload?

Validation runs before any data commits. If errors exist, they are listed with row references and the upload does not process. Fix the errors in your Excel file and re-upload. If a successful upload contains data you want to revert, contact Makanify support; we can roll back recent uploads on request.

Can I track project-wise sales performance and conversion?

Yes. The Sales Summary Report and Sales Performance by Agent Report support project-wise filtering. The Dashboard shows project-level booking counts, payment received, and payment due. The Inventory by Property Type chart breaks down by project.

Is project management included in the Builder plan?

Yes. Project management with unit hierarchy, bulk upload, custom fields, project visibility, and project files is included in the Builder plan at ₹1,000 per user per month, billed annually. The Broker and Channel Partner plan does not include the project module because brokers and channel partners typically work with individual property listings rather than full project structures.
