How long does it take to generate a quote in Makanify?

Under 30 seconds from opening the lead detail page to sending the quote on WhatsApp. The actual quote PDF generation takes 2 to 3 seconds; the rest is selecting the project, unit, and delivery channel.

Are GST and stamp duty calculated automatically?

Yes. GST and stamp duty are configured per project as project charges (typically GST as 5% or 12% on base price, stamp duty as 6% of registered value, both editable per state and project). When you generate a quote, these auto-compute and show as separate line items in the price bifurcation.

Can I edit the price for negotiation purposes?

Yes. The rate per square foot pre-populates from the project base price or selected payment plan, but it is fully editable on the quote screen. Edits are logged in the audit trail. The original computed value is preserved for reference.

Can I send the quote on WhatsApp directly?

Yes. The Quote tab has WhatsApp as a delivery option. Click Send, and Makanify opens WhatsApp in a new tab with the quote PDF and a pre-formatted message including unit details and your contact information. Two clicks total.

What does the cost sheet PDF look like?

The cost sheet is branded with your builder logo, contact details, and signature block. The price bifurcation is presented in a clean table with line items: base price, GST, stamp duty, society maintenance, project charges, and total payable. Total in words is auto-generated. RERA-aligned format.

Can I customise the quote template per project?

Yes. Each project has its own Quote T&C (terms and conditions) field configured in Settings, Accounting, Project Charges. The T&C text appears on the quote PDF. Different projects can have different T&Cs (for example, premium project versus affordable housing project).

How do payment plan rates interact with quote generation?

If you select a payment plan when generating the quote (e.g., the project has CLP plan, 3-month plan, and Easy Installment plan), the rate per square foot pre-populates from the selected plan instead of the project base rate. This lets you offer different rates to buyers selecting different payment plans.

Does generating a quote affect the unit's availability?

No. Generating a quote does not change the unit's status. Status changes only when you take a deliberate action (Hold, Book) on the Book or Hold tab. Multiple buyers can receive quotes on the same unit without affecting each other.

Is the quote and cost sheet feature included in the Builder plan?

Yes. Quote and cost sheet generation, project charges configuration, payment plan integration, and WhatsApp delivery are included in the Builder plan at ₹1,000 per user per month, billed annually. The Broker and Channel Partner plan does not include this module because brokers and channel partners typically share property listings rather than generating builder-specific cost sheets.
