The built-up area plus a share of common amenities such as the lift lobby, staircase, club house, and other shared infrastructure.
Pre-RERA, super built-up area was the default unit for advertising apartment sizes, which made it easy to inflate prices. Today the cost sheet must use RERA carpet area as the primary figure, with super built-up area noted as a reference.
